Service & Leadership

Throughout my doctoral journey, I have been committed to fostering community, mentorship, and meaningful student engagement. I view service not only as participation, but as an opportunity to design supportive environments where students can connect, grow, and thrive.

From 2024 to 2025, I served as president of the PALDT student organization, where I collaborated with fellow officers to enhance academic and professional support for Learning Design and Technology students through events, workshops, and panel discussions. In parallel, I contributed as a mentor in the GSEC mentor-mentee program for multiple years, supporting fellow graduate students as they navigated the challenges of academic and professional life. I have also actively engaged in College of Education student initiatives, including organizations such as GSEC and CIGSA, contributing to community-building and cross-cultural engagement efforts in supporting COE graduate students.

For the academic services, I’ve been a reviewer for international and regional conferences and a reviewer for the Journal of International Students. Additionally, I am an active member in the International Division of AECT, serving as a member of the professional development team to help organize webinars for researchers and professionals in the field. These experiences provided experience with the innovative trends in the field, and introduced me to the passionate researchers worldwide.
